Fiyel Levent was hired by Anik Pearson Architect to design and fabricate a backlit wine wall. Having decided to team up with Oso Industries, Fiyel Levent designed the wall to be a set of 10" thick concrete panels. Each panel measuring 2'-3" wide and 3'-9" tall, with 12 panels in total, the overall piece was dimensioned at approximately 13'-6" wide and 7'-6" tall. Fiyel Levent first worked with Anik Pearson and the clients to develop the material, design and desired affect of the piece, then collaborated with Oso Industries to carry out the fabrication and installation. The wall holds 500 wine bottles, and is backlit with LED's.
